HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

The Pelvis is a major junction with many insertion and attachment points that is the bridge between the torso to the lower limbs. So using the trigger ball for soft tissue work is suited better for the hips as it allows you to be more direct with the specific muscles compared to using a foam roller which is better suited for more global muscles.

QUES FOR THE DRILL:

  1. Start with a soft tennis ball if this is too rough with a massage ball initially but progress to a harder ball as is starts to become less painful.

  2. Sciatic nerve runs through the piriformis muscle of the hip so if you feel any nerve referral down your leg while doing this routine, move on and don’t aggravate the nerve.

Good luck with this routine and stay tuned for next week!
